While interning at ARC&Co., a branding and web design company in Nashville, I had the opportunity to work on various branding projects. August House Co. is a company that designs houses — “Houses designed to inspire.” AHC wanted a brand refresh that brings a sense of warmth, something that has been lost in the world of stark, black-and-white, modern home design. Myself and Abby Connolly, the founder ARC&CO., came up with a simple, sleek logo to keep the upscale brand that AHC already had, but then changed the brand colors and fonts to bring the warmth in.
